TSMC Expands Arizona Operations

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has broken ground on its third Arizona fabrication facility, marking a $40 billion expansion of its US operations.

Strategic Significance

The expansion represents the largest foreign direct investment in Arizona history and strengthens the US semiconductor supply chain for advanced chip manufacturing.

TSMC CEO C.C. Wei stated that the Arizona fabs will serve as a critical hub for supplying American technology companies with cutting-edge processors.
